I had a blast playing in the forest during this Blue Springs Maternity session this past weekend. Basically, there were two soon to be amazing parents, Carolina and Luis, my camera with a 50mm glued to it, and my awesome assistant Nicole, who also goes by Nikki Gator and can speak Fox. This maternity shoot turned into a wild adventure, like crazy fast! There were very giant aggressive mosquitoes, hungry gators, wild turkeys, big fish, snakes with big teeth, and Manatee juice in the river. On a serious note, photographing this special moment for Carolina and Luis was such a great experience.

The entire session was photographed with my favorite lens, the Canon 50mm L. I’m not ashamed of that, I freaking love that lens. It’s like the horn on a Unicorn.
