There was nothing conventional about this last family portrait session. I’m not going to fully dive into all of the different family dynamics that were flying around during this shoot. Instead, I’m going to share two of the funniest and wild unicorn sisters I’ve ever photographed, Leah and Emma. There’s oodles of energy inside of the sun, right? So what happens when the sun starts to diminish into the horizon? Well, I can tell you what takes place…Leah and Emma gradually suck the oodles of energy from the sun, which is actually what causes the sunset, and begin to play. Like really PLAY! Running at top speeds! Laughing the sky silly. Transforming the ocean into sugar water with every eye squint. It’s a backyard filled with joy and happiness. It was so much fun…I forgot I was there to take pictures. Thank you Leah and Emma for allowing me to be a kid again.
