Horses like to eat apples.

Some horses like chunky apples, while other horses like thinly sliced green apples. Basically, horses are just like us humans…except they are way more bodacious! These beautiful peaceful giants spend their days next to my parent’s house, and I always look forward to waking up and walking over to say hello. I can tell they enjoy the company, not just for the apples, but for the connection that takes place so effortlessly. These unicorn-like animals are a reminder of the magical creatures that once roamed earth. The type of creatures that could fly, and cast magical spells…before the ice age of course. I mean, let’s be honest, animals after the ice age were mean and aggressive…like alligators with bi-polar disorder.

I kept my Canon 70-200mm 2.8 on my markIII at all times, but kept my Canon ae-1 handy. I couldn’t help but want to know more about my new friends. I wish I knew their names. I wish I could set them free. I wish all horses were free to walk around and greet people.

I can’t wait to go back home. I can’t wait to see my friends, the horses.
